Golf Course Maintenance and Laborer
Responsibilities
The Golf Course Maintenance and Laborer position works on the diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance and construction. They are responsible for semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work, and performs related tasks as required
- Operate powered equipment in mowing golf course putting greens, aprons, tees, and rough
- Operate edgers and trimmers
- Grade and prepare soil plant beds, lay sod, plant a variety of vegetative material, and pull weeds in bed
- Change cups and tee markers
- Maintain ball washers, water hazards, and bunkers
- Operate light equipment in hauling materials and removing debris
- Trim trees, prune shrubbery, and cultivate shrubs and flowers
- Assist in construction of new greens, tees, and fairways by grading, preparing soil and planting
Job Requirements
- 1 year of experience in landscaping maintenance (preferred)
- Able to understand and follow detailed written and oral instruction
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Part-time or Full-time is available
